Fantastic CRM for small biz!

Capsule CRM is just what our small business needed! We got the Teams Edition and it's amazing how much easier it is to track everything now. The Mobile CRM App is super handy when I'm out of the office, and the Xero Integration has saved us so much time. Setting up custom fields was a breeze. Definitely going to stick with this and tell my business friends about it!

Consistently reliable service

This is my third year with Capsule, and they've been consistently reliable. I started with the Professional Edition and upgraded to the Teams Edition last year. The Activity Tracking is spot on, and the Sales Reporting gives me exactly what I need without being overly complicated. I also use the Calendar Integration daily. I've looked at other CRMs, but Capsule just works for us, and I haven't found a compelling reason to switch. Their Data Import Service was seamless when we first migrated. It's not the cheapest option out there, but the stability and ease of use keep me coming back.

Good for basics, minor setup issues

I signed up for the Professional Edition after trying the free trial. The Sales Pipeline Management and Contact Management features are really solid and helped us organize our leads better. It was fairly easy to get started. The only thing was setting up the Gmail Add-on took a little longer than I expected, it wasn't super straightforward. Overall, a decent value for what we paid, especially with the annual billing discount. I'm happy with the core functionality but wished the integration part was smoother.

How long does it take to actually set this up and get going? I'm not super techy and don't want to spend weeks configuring stuff.

A Andre Walsh 2 months ago
Honestly, it's pretty quick. You can import contacts easily and start tracking deals same day. It's designed to be simple, not like some of those monster CRMs.

I had it up and running for my small team in an afternoon. The basic stuff is super intuitive. Customizing reports and workflows takes a bit longer but you can start using it right away.

Is the mobile app actually good? Or is it just a stripped-down version that's barely usable?

N Neil H. 3 months ago
It's pretty solid for on-the-go. I use it to check contacts, add notes after calls, and update deal stages. Doesn't have every feature but it's totally usable.

yeah, the mobile app works well enough. I don't try to do heavy admin on it but for quick updates and checking info, it's fine.

Is the free starter plan actually useful or is it super limited and you basically have to pay to do anything?

A Andre M. 3 months ago
It's decent for really basic contact management. If you're just starting out or have very few contacts, it's okay. But yeah, you'll hit limits pretty quick if you want to track sales or anything.

Yeah, I tried it for a bit. It gives you a feel for it, but if you want more than like, a glorified address book, you'll need one of the paid plans. Good for testing the waters though.

If I decide to pay annually, does the discount just apply automatically when I pick that option, or do I need a code?

B Beth Y. 2 months ago
It should apply automatically when you choose the annual billing option. That's how it worked for me last year, didn't need a specific code.

Yeah, no code needed for the annual discount, just select annual billing and it shows up. Pretty straightforward.

I'm looking at this versus HubSpot. What's the main difference people notice? My team is pretty small.

R Raj Nguyen 2 months ago
HubSpot can get really complicated fast, especially with all their marketing stuff. Capsule is way simpler for just CRM and sales. Easier to get your team on board without a huge learning curve.

Yeah, Capsule is definitely more focused on just the CRM part for small biz. HubSpot tries to do everything and can be overkill unless you need all the extra bells and whistles.
